To start you will need 3 skeins of yarn in three colors or all of the same color, that's up to you! A Knifty Knitter knit loom in the long straight loom, a loom hook, a yarn needle.
Using the double knit technique knit across 5 to six pegs.
Consider the length you wish to make it, count how many rows you knit so you can do the same for the other two pieces.
So now that your pieces are finished, take a piece of the yarn and stitch across the bottoms of each row to attach them. Leave the loose strands, we'll deal with them later!
Braid the pieces being sure to keep them flat. When finished, stitch the bottom like you did with the first part.
Now, I no longer have photos for the following steps. There are two ways you can go about this. If you made a shorter length scarf you can stitch the ends together to create a cowel style scarf. If you made a longer scarf you can leave the end stitched together, or add fringe!
This scarf can be done without the knit looms in either crochet or knit. You can customize it in lots of different ways! Have fun with it!
